Description

Buran was designed to perform the tasks of defense, maintenance of various space objects and their return to Earth.
The only orbital launch of a Buran occurred on 15 November 1988 from Baikonur Cosmodrome.
In 2002 during a construction works at the Baikonur Cosmodrome, the hangar housing Buran collapsed. It killed several workers and destroyed the craft as well as the Energia carrier.
The most advanced spaceship of all time. A legend left in the past is alive in our hearts.
