A wonderful well cared for Royal Copenhagen cup and saucer from an estate in the heart of Amish and Pennsylvania Dutch Country, in Lancaster County.
The marks and backstamps on this set indicate they were manufactured in1962.
There is no scratch through the 3 wavy blue lines painted on the back of these pieces.  This means they are 1st quality, meeting all the exacting standards of Royal Copenhagen.
They also show no signs of use -- no cracks, chips, stains, wear, etc.
In the 1960's, Royal Copenhagen products were still produced in Denmark and not in Thailand where new  pieces are manufactured today.
The retail price on the Royal Copenhagen and Bed, Bath & Beyond websites for this cup and saucer set is 5 USD.
It could be argued that this vintage set is of higher quality and would save you 5 to boot!
The painter's mark of OX on the saucer make this particular set a little extra special --
