Description

Here is a pair of
Royal Copenhagen
Blue Fluted teacups, Number 1/86, with gold trim.
These are stunning, rare pieces, in fantastic condition. I cannot see any clear loss of gold trim, remarkable for 100+ year old pieces. The porcelain is delicate and translucent, and the painting is very beautiful.
Both cups are
factory firsts
, hand made and hand painted in Denmark in the period 1900-1923. I have numbered the two cups in the photos for reference. Unfortunately,
there are no matching saucers included in this listing
.
The cups have minimal, if any, loss of gold trim. The cups have no damage or signs of use. There are
no scratches, chips or cracks
. Cup number 2 has a small firing mark on the inside of the cup, which I have indicated in my photos. This is the only apparent flaw that I can find.
Each cups has a 3 3/4 inch rim diameters and a 1 7/8 inch height.
Please examine the photos and reach out with any questions!
