This is aRoyal Copenhagen
Blue Fluted Plain 16-point small serving dish number 1/140.
It is a rare, beautiful bowl with a scalloped rim and painting on the back. It is the smallest of the three 16-point dishes of this kind.
The dish is a
factory first
in excellent used condition. It was hand made and hand painted in Denmark in the period 1924-1934. There are
no significant chips or cracks
. There is one barely noticeable micro chip (last picture) and there are some shallow utensil scratches. The bowl has a small glaze irregularity that it was 'born with'. This is near the center of the dish and can be seen in the photos.
The bowl has a 6 inch diameter and 1 1/4 inch height.
It has a lovely shape and size. It can be used for dipping sauces, condiments, nuts or for holding small things like jewelry or shells.
