Sun Beam Railroad Caboose Stove. This is a number 14 Spears New Sun Beam Railway cabin car stove. Cast in top is the name Saturn. In front cast in is the name 20th Century.Cast in the back is the date 1900 in bold numbers. This piece is heavy cast-iron and measures 28 inches from the its base to the top of the heating surface. The diameter of the heating surface is 24 inches. There is a crack in part of the heating surface and a piece chipped out the back of the chimney. Except for some missing bolts, most all pieces are intact with the exception of part of the chimney flue. The stove can be disassembled, but I’ve never even tried. The chimney can be removed and the heating surface disassembled for easier transportation. Due to its size and extreme weight I wouldn’t even attempt to ship this piece. Thus this item is for pick up only at no additional cost. Please ask if you have any questions. This is a unique piece and with a little attention it will be ready for display.
