Vintage Service Leather Swivel Holster w/ wire hanger Marked on bk" 551 6 45.

Description

This is an auction... for a BLACK leather vintage Duty Service Holster with a drop down swivel and hung with a military style brass wire hanger.  Holster has a strap and snap safety.  Back is marked with model 551 6 45. I believe the 6 is for the barrel length sine it fits my SW 6" revolver. The 45 might be for the cal. like a SW or a Colt .45.  Anyway, it still works and holds the revolver firmly.  Classic design and look.  Might have been used for a guard or military-police. Two small holes into the back area. Maybe a hog leg chord at one time???
* Swivel pivot is frozen Needs D40 to loosen.
