Sharks survive sin bin to leapfrog Panthers into third

Jesse Ramien faces a nervous wait with the match review committee after he was sin binned for a high shot during the Sharks’ win over the Dragons.
Ramien came across in cover defence to stop Mat Feagai but whacked him right across the face.
The Sharks centre was apologetic after the incident but that didn’t stop the ref giving him a 10 minute break.

Ramien was the first try scorer for the match in the sixth minute before the Dragons hit back through Jack Bird while the centre was off the field.
Kayal Iro and Sam Stonestreet scored the final two tries in the first half to make it 14-6 at the break.
The first try of the second half came through the Dragons when Christian Tuipulotu scored in the 54th minute, with the deficit only four points.
However from there, the Sharks went on a rampage.
Will Kennedy, Briton Nikora, Stonestreet and Mawene Hiroti all scored tries to make a statement with only two rounds left until finals.
